Maggi Coconut Milk from MAGGI, is a powder made with the best known Sri Lankan coconuts.It is a convenient product with high solubility and smooth texture.Mix the powder as per the required consistency in lukewarm water to create Goan delicacy.

Ingredients

  • MAGGI Coconut Milk Powder
  • Warm water
  • Oil
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Cloves
  • Cinnamon
  • Onions, sliced
  • Slit Green Chillies
  • Ginger juliennes
  • Garlic juliennes
  • Tomatoes chopped
  • Pepper Corns
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red Chilli Powder
  • Coriander Powder
  • Salt
  • Coriander Leaves chopped
  • Chicken
  • 35 gm
  • 375 ml
  • 5 tbsp

  • Clean and cut into 10-12 pieces

Method

  • 1. Mix 4 tbsp. MAGGI Coconut Milk Powder with 2 cups warm water for thin milk and keep aside.
  • 2. Mix the remaining 2 tbsp MAGGI Coconut Milk Powder in half cup of warm water to make thick coconut milk and keep aside.
  • 3. Heat the oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds, add cloves, cinnamon, onions, green chillies, ginger and garlic. Fry for 5-7 minutes, till onions are soft and transparent.
  • 4. Add tomatoes, peppercorns, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt and fry till the tomatoes soften.
  • 5. Add thin MAGGI Coconut Milk and bring to a boil. Add the chicken pieces, simmer till the chicken is done. Add thick MAGGI Coconut Milk. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 6. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
