Cream of Tomato

Ingredients

  • MAGGI® Professional Pasta Sauce Mix (White sauce)
  • Milk
  • Whole tomato
  • Whole garlic
  • Veg. stock
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Crushed pepper
  • Butter
  • 7 g
  • 100 ml (at room temperature)
  • 250 g
  • 10 g
  • 200 ml
  • to taste
  • 2 g
  • as per taste
  • 20 g

Method

  • 1. Make white sauce following the pack method of preparation (using MAGGI® Professional Pasta Sauce Mix and milk).
  • 2. In a pot, boil whole tomato & garlic. Once cooked, make it into a puree.
  • 3. Take a pan, add butter & tomato puree and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • 4. Add the white sauce, sugar, salt, crushed pepper & stock to the above and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • 5. Once the above thickens and forms a soup consistency (semi thick), garnish it with cream and serve hot with bread rolls.
