Prawn Qorma with Coconut Milk

Dig into a bowl of Prawns cooked in smooth coconut milk made out of Maggi Coconut Milk Powder. Great product from Sri lanka with authentic flavor for best sea food curry preparation.

Ingredients

  • Roasted chilies powder
  • Cardamoms
  • Ginger chopped
  • Garlic cloves, chopped
  • Lemon grass chopped
  • Pepper powder
  • Salt
  • Tomatoes chopped
  • Lime juice
  • Onions chopped
  • Green chilies chopped
  • Oil
  • Curry leaves
  • For curry paste
  • Maggi Coconut Milk Powder

  • Raw Rice
  • Coriander leaves

Method

  • 1. Mix and marinate the prawn pieces for 6 hours with curry paste along with chili powder, ginger, garlic, lemon grass, pepper, salt and cardamoms.
  • 2. After marinating, drain gravy from prawns and keep aside.
  • 3. Heat oil in a pan, sauté curry leaves, green chillies, onions and cinnamon for a few minutes and add the prawn mixture. Fry, stirring for about 10 minutes.
  • 4. Add chopped tomato, dissolved MAGGI Coconut Milk and gravy from step 2.
  • 5. Simmer for 20 minutes till gravy is thick. Finally mix in limejuice and remove from heat. Serve with rice.
