Allappuzha Fish Curry

This delicious fish curry is a treat for spice lovers! The Alleppey Fish Curry is coated with a special spice mix that also contains MAGGI® coconut milk powder for a lip-smacking taste. This tangy and hot dish is best enjoyed with a side of rice.

How to Make Allappuzha Fish Curry

Prepare Allappuzha Fish Curry

  • Step 1

    Make a paste with MAGGI® coconut milk powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, half a raw mango and tomato.

  • Step 2

    Wash the fish and marinate with salt and turmeric powder. Add water in the coconut mixture as per the required consistency.

  • Step 3

    Boil it along with the fish. Put remaining raw mango slices, salt and half of curry leaves. Cook for 15min.

  • Step 4

    Check the salt. Heat little coconut oil and put the remaining curry leaves with fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds.

  • Serving Suggestions:

    Serve hot.
