Malvani Handi is a hot, delectable recipe that will leave your customers’ taste buds tingling for more! Popular in Maharashtra and Goa’s Konkan region, this coconut-flavoured gravy (made with MAGGI® coconut milk powder) that contains cottage cheese and a mix of spices must not be missed. - MAGGI® coconut milk powder (add water as per the desired consistency required for coconut milk)100 ml
- Cottage cheese (paneer)250 g
- Turmeric powder5 g
- Dried red chillies5 g
- Black cardamom5 g

- Stone flower (dagad phool)5 g
- Ginger-garlic paste15 g
- Grated dried coconut (khopra)25 g

Prepare Malavani Handi
- Step 1
Heat pan and roast black and green cardamom, cloves, dried chillies, coriander seeds, and cumin seeds.
- Step 2
Add sliced onions, stone flower, cinnamon, and sauté for 6-8 minutes.
- Step 3
Add ginger garlic paste, dried coconut, tomato, turmeric and salt.
- Step 4
Grind the whole mixture in a smooth paste and transfer it to the heated pan.
- Step 5
Add star anise and curry leaves, and saute the mixture.
- Step 6
Add half a cup of water to the mixture and cook it for 3-4 minutes.
- Step 7
Add cottage cheese cubes, pour in the coconut milk and mix well.
Sprinkle coriander on it and serve hot.
