Alleppey Fish Curry

The Alleppey Fish Curry is a coastal delicacy from Kerala that wins over with its rich flavour and soft texture. Fish cubes are coated with a special spice mix and stewed in raw mango-infused coconut milk (made with MAGGI® coconut milk powder). This melt-in-the-mouth fish curry tastes best with a side of rice or malabar parotta.

    300 g
  • Fish cubes

  • Curry leaves

How to Make Alleppey Fish Curry

Prepare Alleppey Fish Curry

  • Step 1

    Heat oil in a pan, add green chillies, curry leaves, small onions, raw mango and sauté well.

  • Step 2

    Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and cook well until raw flavour goes out.

  • Step 3

    Add MAGGI® coconut milk powder and bring to a boil for 4-5 mins. Add water, as per the desired consistency required.

  • Step 4

    Add cleaned fish cubes and cook it on low flame.

  • Step 5

    Cook till fish softens and the gravy thickens.

  • Serving Suggestions:

    Serve hot with rice or appam.
