Serve your guests the ever-popular bread pudding that is loved for all reasons and seasons! It is made with stale bread and milk or cream, generally containing eggs, a form of fat such as oil or butter, and a generous amount of Nestlé MILKMAID®. Sweet or savoury, they use ingredients like sugar syrup, honey, dried fruit, nuts, as well as spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, or vanilla, and are baked to perfection.

- Butter25 g
- Kishmish (raisins)50 g

Prepare Bread Pudding
- Step 1
Pre-heat the oven to 160ºC. Trim the edges of bread slices, butter the slices on both sides and cut into two triangular pieces. Arrange the slices in layers in an 8” x 6” ovenproof dish, sprinkling kishmish in between the layers.
- Step 2
Mix MILKMAID®, milk, eggs, nutmeg and beat lightly. Pour the mixture over the buttered slices.
- Step 3
Bake in a moderately hot oven (175ºC) for 30-40 minutes till the top is golden brown. Serve hot or cold, as desired.
