Gulab Jamun (Channar Puli)
No Indian meal can be complete without the addition of Gulab Jamun. A popular North Indian dessert, it is made with paneer, maida, baking powder, and Nestlé MILKMAID® Condensed Milk. What’s more, this melt-in-the-mouth dessert can be made in three simple steps, so serve it to your customers and impress them in an instant.
- Nestlé MILKMAID® Condensed Milk200g
- Paneer250 g
- Maida (flour)8-10 tbsp
- Baking powder1/2 tsp
- Sugar (for syrup)2 cups
- Gheefor frying
- Water (for syrup)2 1/2 cups
Prepare Gulab Jamun (Channar Puli)
- Step 1
Knead together Nestlé MILKMAID® Condensed Milk, 1tbsp Ghee, paneer, maida, and baking powder to a smooth sticky dough.
- Step 2
Heat together sugar and water to get thin sugar syrup.
- Step 3
Heat Ghee in a kadhai, roll the paneer mixture into elongated/round shapes, and deep fry on medium heat till golden brown.
Soak in syrup and serve hot.
