Lemon Butter Cookies
An easy bake, these Lemon Butter cookies, have the tartness of lemon and the richness of butter for an unforgettable taste. This sweet treat is prepared using flour, salt, lemon zest, juice, vanilla essence, and the creaminess of Nestlé MILKMAID® condensed milk. Serve it to your customers with coffee or tea.
- Unsalted butter285 g
- Nestlé MILKMAID® condensed milk150 g
- Flour375 g
- Lemon zest & lemon juice1 piece
- Vanilla essence10 ml
- Brown sugar200 g
Prepare Lemon Butter Cookies
- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees celsius.
- Step 2
Using the paddle, cream the butter and add Nestlé MILKMAID® condensed milk and mix well.
- Step 3
Fold the flour, salt, lemon zest, juice, and vanilla essence. Do not over-mix the cookie dough. Chill for 3-4 hours in the refrigerator.
- Step 4
Make 30 g balls, roll in brown sugar, and place on trays lined with baking paper.
- Step 5
Bake till a nice golden colour is achieved.
Cool and store in an airtight jar.
